Hi, Im Anthony Purrgess. I'm named after some guy who wrote a book. I dont write books. I dont even know what a book is. But I do know what pets and cuddles are, and I like those. My foster mom says I have an air of mystery about me because I have "mesmerizing eyes", but I'm a pretty simple guy: pet me, pick me up, scratch my belly, that's me. I'm a relatively calm guy, but I am a little skittish around new or surprising sounds, like the vacuum cleaner and I'm not the biggest fan of the vet, but I love humans and other cats like me. I would be okay in a home with kids as long as they pet me softly and pick me up with care. I could maybe live with a really nice dog, but I wouldnt want too much commotion in my home, so the pup would have to be pretty low key. I like low key.

Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
